Promoting a large retailer’s products has one clear advantage: the brand is already known and people trust the purchase. And an equally clear disadvantage: you are not alone, and the product is exactly the same everywhere.
What changes when the price is higher
Electronics and appliances are not bought on impulse. People research — sometimes for days. That changes where they are and what they want.
They are not scrolling a feed: they are typing “model A or model B”, “is that fridge worth it”, “how many litres for two people”. Whoever answers those questions arrives before the decision.
The three formats that convert
- A direct comparison between the two models the person is weighing;
- A review from real use, including what is not good — that is what gives it credibility;
- An answer to a specific doubt: does it fit the space, does it suit that use, how much does it consume.
Where to publish it
On a page of your own. Publishing this only on social media works for a day; on a page it keeps paying for months, because that is where search sends people.
For that page to appear, it has to be discovered and have sites pointing at it.
Social media in its proper role
It serves to show an offer and keep an audience. For the higher price, it leads to the page where the decision happens; it rarely closes on its own.
About sale seasons
On the big shopping dates, search volume explodes and so does the competition. Publishing the comparison content well in advance is what makes the difference — content created on the day is rarely found in time.
